Check the module number, board and connectors
The kit is intended for compatible modules marked 4F0905852B, also written 4F0 905 852 B. Check the complete number, board layout and connectors against the listing photos. An Audi model name or year alone does not establish compatibility.
Modules marked 4F0905852 / 4F0 905 852 are included only when their board and components match those photos. Check this carefully before ordering a kit for a module without the final B.
What the kit contains
- Three microswitches, two supplied with spring plates.
- One replacement relay.
This is a component-level repair kit. The complete steering-lock module shown for reference is not included, and the kit does not replace the actuator motor.
Confirm the fault before replacing components
A failed actuator motor, power-supply fault, wiring problem or damaged main board can cause similar symptoms. The kit will not repair a failed motor. Diagnose the fault to establish whether the relay or microswitches are responsible before replacing them.
Plan for soldering and diagnostic work
Installation requires component-level soldering, careful disassembly and suitable diagnostic tools. If those skills or tools are outside your experience, arrange help from a technician who handles automotive electronics before opening the module.
Repairing the original module from the same vehicle normally preserves its existing coding. Follow the diagnostic procedures for the vehicle and check for remaining faults after the repair.
