Symptoms this kit may address

  • Several attempts before the vehicle starts
  • Fault 00288 / steering-lock actuator N360
  • Clicking when the key is inserted
  • No ignition or no-start condition
  • Vehicle immobilized

These symptoms can have other causes, including a failed actuator motor, power-supply fault, wiring problem or damaged main board. Diagnose the module before ordering. This kit will not repair a failed motor.

Kit contents

Installation requirements

Component-level soldering, careful disassembly and suitable diagnostic tools are required. Repairing the original module from the same vehicle normally preserves the existing coding, but follow vehicle-specific diagnostic procedures and confirm the fault before reinstallation.
