This kit is for selected vehicles fitted with a compatible electronic steering-column-lock module marked 4E0905852. Match the complete module label and board with the listing photos before ordering. The model name or production year alone does not establish compatibility.
Identify the symptoms and diagnose the fault
The product listing identifies these possible symptoms:
- Intermittent starting or several attempts before starting.
- Clicking after the key is inserted.
- No ignition or no Terminal 15.
- No start, locked steering or steering-lock fault 00288.
